Mbinga District is one of the five districts of the Ruvuma Region of Tanzania. It is bordered to the north by the Njombe Region, to the east by Songea Rural District and Songea Urban District, to the south by Mozambique and to the west by Lake Nyasa.
Mbuji is a one of the most incridible and attractive rock located in Ruvuma Region. It is not easy to climb this rock/stone due to its vastness. According to the community of Mbuji area it is said that it can take almost 12 hrs to 14 hrs to cross arround this rock.
If you look it seems small but reality is different.
This rock according to the old people is said to be as a magician rock, it has sometimes resulted some people who are trying to climb they fall even some who force they die.
As they say if someone needs to climb should address to the culture people (former old men) of the village
